Introduction

Principal and Controller Dr(Brig) K K Sharma graduated from Sardar Patel education

College Bikaner in year 1976 and competed his MD (Preventive and Social Medicine) from

Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in year 1986.

Experience

Dr K K Sharma joined Armed forces in 1977 after his MBBS. He served in Army

Medical Corps for 35 years. During this period he served in all four corners of India and

saw action in op-falcon and Kargil. He had 12 years of teaching experience in AMC and

rose to the post of senior consultant (Professor) and in the rank of Brigadier.

He was awarded by Army Commander SW Command for raising Medical branch

from scratch. He was again awarded by Army Commander Eastern Command for his

commendable role in providing medical aid during floods in Sikkim. He was awarded by

chief of the Army staff COAS commendation card for his valuable role in improvement of

Ration Supply to troops in high altitude areas and difficult terrain.

After hanging his uniform he served as professor in Community Medicine at

Mahatma Ghandi Medical College, Jaipur and Chirayu education College Bhopal. He served

as HOD community medicine and also as dean at Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences

(PIMS), Udaipur. Before joining as Principal and Controller medical college dholpur he

was Professor & HOD Community Medicine Government Medical College, Bharatpur.

He has to his credit several research papers in national and international Journals.
