Inter-state Study Visits
Inter-state study visits are being organised by the Directorate of Literacy and State Literacy Mission Authority, Rajashan to exchange best practices and experiences in field of literacy. The objective of the various study visits is to accelerate the Continuing Education Programmes in Rajasthan by adopting some of the latest methodologies and innovations of literacy of other states. Inter State Study The representatives of 19 states have visited Rajasthan to observe the effective implementation of CEP. There has been active participation of the officers of the Directorate of Literacy and district level officers in the various orientation workshops and seminars organised by the Nirmal Gram Maharastra Association and all the other supportive agencies.
With a purpose to share new useful methods for the expansion of literacy, two study visits have been successfully accomplished by the literacy functionaries of Maharastra and Tamil Nadu.
Mr. Manoj Singh Chauhan, Consultant of National Literacy Mission, New Delhi has finalized a programme to visit the 9 districts of Rajasthan, in January, 2008 to see the progress of literacy activities.
In December, 2008 a study visit of Tamilnadu is conducted. A team of six members visits there to study the special strategies and work plan to strengthen the women literacy as well as income generating programmes.
