Facilities in department:

Daily OPD services including gazette holidays.

Day care facility with 30 beds for chemotherapy and other short procedures like blood transfusion, bone marrow, and ascitic/Pleural fluid tapping and supportive care.

Dedicated minor OT with facility for procedures like fine needle aspiration, biopsy including bone marrow biopsy.

Interstitial Brachytherapy Operation Theatre.  

Dedicated semi ICU with 08 beds for critically ill patients.

Indoor facility with 32 beds (male & female).

Departmental library with latest journals and books.

One cobalt-60 machine ( Bhabhatron II)

HDR brachytherapy

Dual energy linear accelerator (under PPP mode) with SRS,SRT, IGRT, IMRT &  3D-CRT facility.

CT simulator ( under PPP mode).

Patient care:

Department is an ESMO Designated centre of integrated oncology & palliative care.

Over 64332 patients in 2019 were registered including more than 8220 new patients.

2182  patients were treated by Tele-Cobalt machine 2019 & 693 patients were treated by linear accelerator in 2019 & 132 patients were treated by Brachytherapy in 2019 and 18133 patients were treated by Chemotherapy in 2019.
