Facilities

Facility of Open Heart Surgery, Closed Heart Surgery, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery are available. Facility to manage Thoracic and Vascular Trauma is also available. Postgraduate M.Ch. CTVS Course being going since 1998 and Diploma in Extracorporeal Technology Course since 2013. Patients are being ventilated in Postoperative period with ICU having ventilator and monitor facility. Latest technology in form of IABP and Cell Saver is also available in term of facilities; CTVS Department of SMS Medical College is a Comprehensive Units.

Department has developed the facility for Cardiac Transplant.
