INTRODUCTION-

Anatomy lay foundation of medical science. The clear and comprehensive knowledge of entire medical science is based on human anatomy. Anatomy is science of macro and microstructure of human body. Therefore without sound knowledge of human anatomy skills and knowledge of medical student will be imperfect. Therefore  teaching of Anatomy with advanced technologies will be focused in this department.

Teaching anatomy by way of lectures/tutorials and practical training by dissection and histological study will help in development of medical/clinical skills of students.

The Anatomy is stratified in Gross Anatomy, Developmental Anatomy, Histology, Radiological Anatomy, Genetics and Clinical Anatomy for better disbursal of knowledge by competent faculty and well equipped labs, tutorials, demonstrations, problem based learning and well planned lectures.

AIM OF DEPARTMENT-
